A Ffern Fairytale
Over the last 8 months we invited children from across the country to craft a fairytale inspired by the arrival of Spring. This community based project has involved working with over 100 children and their families to create a campaign film for Ffern. Ffern is an organic seasonal perfume maker based in Somerset, England.
Through workshops led by artist Josh Bilton, the children took part in painting, storytelling, writing, music and expressive use of abstract mark making. Through the sessions the children created their own spring fairytale characters.
We then brought some of their ideas together and created 'A Ffern Fairytale' which stars the children telling their own story. None of the children in this film have any previous acting experience, this project encouraged them to simply be themselves.
